Swine Flu - Q&A
Are people with asthma or COPD more at risk from swine flu?

Yes. 

If you do catch a respiratory infection, including swine flu, it will add to any breathing difficulties you may have. 

It is important to follow good hygeine practices as described in the Swine flu leaflet.

If you develop flu-like symptoms and contact your GP, if your GP is closed NHS 24 on 0845 4 24 24 24.
